The definition of a Ceilidh covers a wide range of activities, but is now more frequently used as a description for a Barn Dance, Drop of a Hat play mainly traditional Celtic tunes, for dances and parties based on traditional Celtic music some dating back to the stately court dances of the mid 1600's. We play Irish, English, and Scottish music on a wide variety of instruments.
The group was formed in 2008 and is comprised mostly of Jamestown Pipes and Drums members.
